In this lunch talk, we will explore the potential opportunities and limitations of generative AI in (academic) research and science communication. Starting from a general explanation of how popular generative AI models -such as ChatGPT- work, we will shed light on the opportunities and risks of this new technology. At the end of this talk, you will have gained insights on how AI can help you conduct research, write and illustrate results and even communicate about your findings!
