How do you pitch your research?

Learn how to present your research in a way that’s clear, engaging and memorable — and walk away with a polished video you can proudly share.

What’s in it for you?

Learn to pitch: A valuable skill for teaching, conferences, funding proposals and more.
Build camera confidence: Let go of awkwardness and shine in front of the lens.
Share your work with the world: Use your video to show what you do — to anyone, anywhere.

What to expect

We guide you through the full process: from shaping your idea to delivering your story on camera.

During the live workshop, you'll define your core message, build a strong structure, and write your pitch in accessible language. You'll also learn how to use your voice, body and energy to keep your audience engaged.

After the session, you’ll refine your script at home — with two rounds of personal feedback to support you along the way.

Then it’s time to film. You’ll come in for a one-hour professional recording session.

And we don’t stop there: your video will be published on the SciComm Clips website, YouTube, social media, and possibly even shared by media partner Eos.
