Stand out with your scientific poster

Are you giving a presentation on a conference event, or for stakeholders, schools or colleagues? Do you want to grab the attention of your audience? In this workshop, you will learn what a good (scientific) poster looks like, how to interact with your audience, and: you will start working on your own poster right away!

What to expect

During the physical workshop, our coach Toon Verlinden (The Floor is Yours) teaches you all secrets of an impactful poster. How can you grab the attention of your audience from the first look and keep them hooked till the end? How can you make your key message stand out?

You will also start working on your own poster to translate your story into a clear and attractive poster. what to put on a poster (and mainly: what not to)? How do you come up with a title that immediately grabs people’s attention? What are the best images to use? How many words can you include on your poster?

But you’re not on your own in the process: you can find some inspiring examples, important take-away messages and a practical guide in the online learning.
