Meet your coach

With his information design agency Baryon, Koen Van den Eeckhout turns complex information into powerful visuals — infographics, data visualisations, reports, chart guidelines and dashboards. His love for science communication has only grown since he completed his PhD in physics in 2013.

In this sneak preview, Koen walks you through three crucial steps to create your first infographic.

The infographic I made during this course got me a Best Poster Award — and that’s thanks to you for a great extent. Keep up the good work!

Great day! The focus on the practical implementation of your own infographic, the clear overview of the dos and don’ts, and the references to design tools were particularly valuable.
